For wisdom is better than jewels, and nothing desirable can equal it.

A wicked man plots evil with perversity in his heart; he stirs up trouble.

Let your fountain be blessed, and take pleasure in the wife of your youth. 

Carefully consider the path for your feet, and all your ways will be established.

Don’t abandon wisdom, and she will watch over you; love her, and she will guard you.

When it is in your power, don’t withhold good from the one to whom it belongs.

In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.

For the Lord gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.

If you respond to my warning, then I will pour out my spirit on you and teach you my words.

Don’t travel that road with them or set foot on their path, because their feet run toward evil and they hurry to shed blood.
